Apology

I just discovered today the most disgusting images and content that I'd ever seen in my life posted on this site. I was completely disgusted. I don't know how it happened. It appears that someone somehow posted 4 articles on December 10th. Since none of the design of the site or past posts had been messed with, and my password was still intact, I think that most likely they simply sent emails to the blog email address that I use to post via email. Since I never had problems before, I had it set to automatically post. I've since changed the setting to not post until confirmed by review. Hopefully I'll never suffer this problem again. I hope nobody saw the filth that was displayed here. I am very sorry.

I hope none of you are Newt supporters

One of his favorite presidents is FDR. He's in favor of health care mandates.

Hoffa Threatens GOP At Obama Event: "Take These Son Of Bitches Out"

I don't understand this. I went to "tea party" events, and all of the people that I went with and all of the people I met, work. We, the Tea Party, are the working people. So what does Hoffa mean when he puts the working people against the Tea Party?

Obama pushing behind scenes to win over big-dollar donors - The Washington Post

This is sickening! How much of our tax money is being spent on the president's campaigning. Disgraceful!! Disgusting!! Should a public servent be out spending all this time and all of this tax payer money towards his re-election? Hell no!!! It should be common sense that this is immoral and unethical. Apparently we need to make it law that you can't spend any resources, time or money, deferred to you by the citizens whom you serve toward campaigning.

Think about it; does the president even need any more publicity? He's speaking, all over, on the TV every day. His fruit should stand on their own merits. There should be no need to spend any money or time campaigning.

Maryland Adds Environmental Literacy in High Schools - FoxNews.com

Sounds really wishy washy to me. No clear guidelines; not a mandate. What curriculum will be negated? This is one to keep an eye on. I'm glad that my wife and I will be putting our kids in private school.

Hillary: State Dept. ‘Instrumental in Sealing Deal’ For Lady Gaga’s Gay Pride Gig in Rome | CNSnews.com

What the heck is this? Is this the proper role of government? Is this what the states wanted the general government to do to promote their welfare? Is this constitutional? How does this help our union, generally? Fraud, waste, and abuse!

Weiner’s Pension, Benefits Could Top $1 Million : Roll Call News

this is just wrong. Question: Should our temporarily elected representitives in government receive any kind of pension? I don't think so. We don't want any thing in place that would encourage prolonged occupancy in office.

FLOTUS tells of Obama's worry | POLITICO 44

I thought that this president has taken more vacations and spent more time on the golf course than his predecessors; certainly more than George W. Bush. He seems to always be here and there giving speeches and hardly ever at the White House. WTF?

Being Mormon, I thought this was a pretty fair article; especially coming from the leftist magazine Newsweek. What do you think? I can't stand that Harry Reid though.

fw: Maryland: Same-Sex Marriage Takes Center Stage

An article on the front page of www.somd.com caught my eye.

We don't live in a theocracy. We have separation of church and state. So why is the state involved in marriage at all. It's a religious institution. Our tax dollars are being wasted paying our legislators to spend time on this issue. I'd say this is an extreme case of fraud and abuse. Government needs to get out of our families, homes, and lives. A read of this article conveys that much time and money has been wasted by government on this. This is unethical and un-american. We believe in limited government and individual liberty.

Now, until we are able to withdraw government's control of marriage, we at least should not allow it to re-define it.

Here's the article:

Same-Sex Marriage Takes Center Stage

Posted on February 08, 2011

By David Saleh Rauf

ANNAPOLIS (February 8, 2011) — Glen Dehn and Charles Blackburn met at a party in Baltimore's historic Bolton Hill neighborhood in the late 1970s.

Within a month, the two started living together.

Fast forward roughly 32 years: Dehn, 73, and Blackburn, 78, are still an item.

They've balked at the idea of getting married in one of the handful of states that allow same-sex marriage for one reason. They want to exchange vows in Maryland.

fw: Just Hours After Voting Against ObamaCare Repeal, Bill Nelson Admits “Possibility” That Health Law Is Unconstitutional

So much for the oath to uphold and defend the constitution, eh?

Just hours after he voted against the repeal of President Obama’s massive health care overhaul – preserving its $500 billion in Medicare cuts, $570 billion in tax hikes, and controversial individual mandate – liberal U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) admitted on ABC’s Top Line today that there is a “possibility” the health law is unconstitutional. http://www.nrsc.org/just-hours-after-voting-against-obamacare-repeal-bill-nelson-admits-possibility-that-health-law-is-unconstitutional

fw: KFC SQUASHES ‘OBAMA’ IN BIZARRE CHINESE TV COMMERCIAL

This is humorous:

Is KFC threatening Barack Obama with a giant chicken sandwich? I don’t know, but I can say that around the time Chinese President Hu Jintao visited America a few weeks ago, KFC ran a commercial in Hong Kong using an Obama look-a-like (and the “change” phrase) to sell a new chicken sandwich. And it features that look-a-like getting pummeled by said sandwichhttp://www.theblaze.com/stories/kfc-squashes-obama-in-bizarre-chinese-tv-commercial/

The quote listed in the header of this blog is an abridgment of a quote of Ezra Taft Benson. Here it is in it's entirety:

In times as serious as these, we must not permit fear of criticism to keep us from doing our duty, even at the risk of our counsel being tabbed as political, as government becomes more and more entwined in our daily lives. In the crisis through which we are now passing, we have been fully warned. There are some of us who do not want to hear the message. It embarrasses us. The things which are threatening our lives, our welfare, our freedoms are the very things some of us have been condoning. Many do not want to be disturbed as they continue to enjoy their comfortable complacency. There can be no neutrality! We are, or we are not, on the side of the Lord! (Ezra Taft Benson, 1973)
