Why did Obama fly all the way out to Denver to sign the "porkulus" bill?

Couldn't he have just signed it at home; in D.C.?
Why waste the fuel?
Why contribute to "global warming"?
Why did Biden fly on a separate jet plane? Couldn't they have jet-pooled?

None of it makes any sense to me.

Obama seems to contradict himself. It's as if he's saying "do as I say, not as I do".

Good leaders lead by example. He is no leader. Furthermore, he's a hypocrite.

I would think that his supporters would be extremely upset with him, but they seem to be, as Mark Levine calls them, "drones".

Today Rush was talking on his show about how Obama doesn't really intend for his words to be taken literally. It's as if he's saying "this is what you want to hear, so I'm speaking it, to appeal to your senses". Then he'll almost immediately do something completely contradictory to what he just said; or he did something contradicting his words previously.

I mean, this is so blatent. How do people fall for this? I'm simply flabergasted.

Obama's actions doth the Lord hate

My wife says I need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin. It just keeps my blood boiling; it's not healthy; I need to chill; calm down.

So, I decided to take her advice. After all, I have been neglecting my scripture reading lately. So, the past few days I've devoted time to reading the Bible.

I was reading in Proverbs 6 tonight and wanted to share the following:

Verses 16 through 19 describe "six things doth the lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him":

1. A proud look

2. a lying tongue

3. hands that shed innocent blood

4. an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations

5. feet that be swift in running to mischief

6. a false witness that speaketh lies

7. he that soweth discord among bretheren

Now I'm not one to judge, but it's interesting to get a feel for how the lord may feel towards our new president, Obama.

1. he definitely has a proud look; quite prideful

2. he lies continuously

3. he supports and promotes abortion and infanticide

4. his imaginations can only be guessed

5. he's constantly flying here and there for no other apparent reason than to bolster his rhetoric and demogoguery

6. he misrepresents who he really is

7. he talks up the "crisis" and divides people into classes

From what I can gather here, it is quite apparent that the Lord hates Obama's actions; they are an abominition unto him.

Caveate:

Of course, we could hold this candle to most people and we would all come up short. Nobody's perfect, but Obama is our president now and he just offends me so blatently, that it infuriates me. He is supposed to be an uplifting, inspiring, leader. Instead we have a fascist rising. I know, I need to calm down. But, at the same time, it's healthy to vent; and this is my forum for venting; it seems to work for me!

Why is White House Press Secretary Gibbs such an idiot?

I dunno, but someone please, spare us. It's painful to watch him make up excuse after excuse; none of which are in the least bit believable. It's very offensive as well, as I feel as if my inteligence is being bombarded with insults.

Of course, I don't know if he really is an idiot or if he is simply the Obama administration's whipping boy and scape goat; having to try and cover for all of their mistakes and outright deceit, lies, and dishonesty. 

Gibbs is the biggest idiot of the year!

Why can't Obama pronounce Pakistan correctly?

It's so annoying.

Question: Did You Read The Bill Before You Voted?

Remember that Obama campaigned on more transparency and responsibility in government; on change. Now its time to pay the piper. How much leadership is he demonstrating in bringing his promises to fruition?

Well, did your representatives read and comprehend all pages of the "stimulus" bill, before signing their name in support of it?

This is the question I would ask you to ask them, and to hold them accountable. It is our responsibility to hold them responsible. If not us, then who? And who are you responsible to? Your fellow man and your posterity; your children, grandchildren, and their children.

Remember that this bill was provided to them, from what I understand, around midnight, The House voted on it about 8 hours later. 

So, let me get this straight. I'm urging you to simply contact your representatives, both in the House of Representatives and in the Senate, and ask them a simple, direct, and legitimate question: did you read the bill in its entirety before you voted for it? If they voted against it, then thank them. If they say "no", that they did not read it all, then hold them to their negligence of duty and complete lack of competence to hold their office of public service and ask for their resignation.

This just seems like such common sense: read it; comprehend it; make a decision. Without this process, how can one make a decision? There is no decision being made. There can not be. Without all of the information contained in a proposal, one can only make a vote on a whim or a feeling; or perhaps a coersion. Something other than sound decision making in the best interest of their constituents prevails. This, my friend, is grounds for dismissal.

All the more reason to set term limits for all of our elected officials. There seems to be a natural direct correlation to the amount of corruption, ciminality, and negligence of duty and the length of time in office.

Shameful Republican Sell-Outs!!!

Can you believe that three Republicans for some reason sided with the socialist Democrats in opposition to the rest of their party members in the Senate? - Collins, Snowe, Specter

They were our last hope to resist this massive ponzy scheme by the corrupt politicians that have gotten us into this mess in the first place.

I was fuming and enraged this morning when I called the three sell-outs. Their office was closed and their voice mail boxes were full; so I couldn't even leave them an angry voice mail.

Here's what I submitted via their website contact forms:

You are a disgrace!!! You let "We The People" down with your sell-out vote with the socialist Democrats. You could have stopped the fraud, waste, and abuse; at least slowed it down. You basically had a no-brainer and you blew it. "Gee, I wonder if I should side with the corrupt socialist Democrats who got us in this mess in the first place; or, should I stand with my own party to represent the people who I have sworn an oath to protect their liberty, freedom, and property?" All you had to do was be loyal to your party, to the people that elected you, and to the people of the United States of America. We are all flooding the phone lines of your office buildings telling you that we oppose the bailout in all its forms. We don't want to bankrupt our grand children! Have you been paying attention? What the hell is wrong with you? Get out of our Senate! Get out of the Republican Party! You are a disgrace!!!!

Opposing the Porkulus Bankrupt America Bailout

From the news clips I've heard last night and today, it sounds like the Senate is still in debate of the propsed socialist pork bill that they term "stimulus". After a bipartisan stance against it in the House, it's good to see that the Republicans are holding their ground in the Senate. Even though many of them have diappointed lately with their votes for the terrorist friendly attorney gerneral nominee Eric Holder and the tax cheat criminal Griebold nominated for Treasurer; including Orin Hatch and Bennet of Utah, who I thought we could count on as holding to their pricipals and laurels; but, it looks like they've sold out for whatever reason. I only hope that they will come to their senses and oppose our new Marxist usurping president, Obama, and the dispicable dingy Harry Reid and Nancy Stretch Pelosi with all of their slobbering drones.

Here are some of the heroes that I know of so far:

1. Senator Diment (R) of South Carolina - appears to be the leader of the opposition
2. Senator John McCain (R), actually on our side on this one - I got an email to sign a letter of opposition to the bailout that I did
3. Senator John Thume (R)
4. Senator Lindsey Graham (R)
5. Senator Sessions (R)

Middle, moderate, unknown or unclear at this point:

1. Senator Susan Collins (R - Maine) - need to do some research, but from the news clip of her speaking, I couldn't tell
2. Senator Blank (D) - it sounded like she was for slowing down and being careful; so, I think she's on our side, at least at this point

When Senator Diment aired on the Mark Levin Show the other day, he made it clear that our flood of phone calls to the Capitol Hill switch board has been a big help and made his job easier. I found that very encouraging, because it seems to me a lot of the time that perhaps my calls , emails, and letters don't amount to any type of difference. So, I was encouraged by his words to press on. On Friday, I called 5 or 6 senators, but all of my calls went directly to voice mail, and they were all full. So, lets keep pressing them. Keep calling. You can look up their numbers or call the main capitol switchboard and ask for them by name (202) 224-3121

Make sure to stay on top of your own senators as well, even if they are on the other side. Let them hear your voice.

Uh, I just called Susan Collins, via the switchboard at 1705 and her voice mail box is full.

So, via her website, I submitted an email to her:

Please stand strong against the socialists. Oppose the pork "stimulus" bill with all of your might. Oppose the Marxist usurper president Obama at all times. Oppose dingy dirty Harry Reid and Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi. We are counting on you and the other Republicans to be our champions now and through your term or service. You are our only hope. I'm tormented with two socialist Democrat Senators from Maryland to represent me: Cardin and Mikulski. Please make us, your fellow Americans, and Republicans, proud. Thank You, very much
