What's up with the Democrat party

We sure are in a mess this election. Two very bad candidates.

I've been thinking a lot about how we got here.

How did the Democrat party nominate Hillary?

What were they thinking?

Shouldn't they have been scared? and picked better candidate? Most anybody else would be better.

She has way more baggage than she did in 2007 when she ran against the unknown Obama and lost to him in the primary. Now, when she has so many more scandals and a terrible record, including being guilty of violating the espionage act, and deserving to serve jail time, they put her up as the best they've got?!

It's quite curious; bewildering.

Did they think all along she had a chance?

Didn't they have anybody better?

Why not get behind Bernie Sanders?

There are a few things I've thought of as answers:

1. They've gotten away with so much.They keep surprising themselves, getting away with more and more, and now they believe they can get away with anything. Why not push the envelope further; see how much more they can get away with. But it still doesn't answer why bother with Hillary at all. Theres' nobody better?

2. She really is the best they've got.

3. There is really an evil world power that is controlling all of this; and it's Hillaries turn. For some reason, they let Obama get it before her, and now she's getting her turn. In this case, nothing Hillary has done, laws broken, scandals revealed, dishonesty, and corruption, she will be the next president they put in place. For whatever reason.

This commenter at politico.com had a good list of promses that Obama has broken from his 2008 campaign. I thought it would do for a good start. I'll add to the list as I discover additional ones.

- against gay marriage his whole life and now is for it.
- didn't want the individual mandate then put it in.
- isn't a big spender.
- unemployment wont go over 8%.
- He will fix the housing sector.
- He will fix the border.
- He will close Gitmo.
- He will win and end the Afgan war.
- Sitting down with dictators without precondition will make them love us more.
- He will cut the federal defecit in half.
- He will bring people together.
- He will end gridlock in Washington.
- He will not raise taxes on the middle class.
- He will get people working with 'shovel ready' jobs.
- He will curb global warming.
- He will restore America's prestige and honor across the globe.
- He will be the most transparent president ever.
- The healthcare debate will be on CSPAN.
- He will take public financing.........................

Maryland Tax increases

I was at the local Fastop tonight and on the counter they had taped a list of all of the tax increases going into effect on July 1. I was shocked to see that the tax on Cigars is going up from 15% to 70%! The other taxes, like for cigarettes, is going up from 15% to 30%. This is terrible how the government is steeling more of our money this way. Absolutely despicable. Now I need to research this.

I guess this list is the companies that we should avoid doing business with. This whole thing is so ridiculous. Rush spoke the truth; although he's since apologized, because he realized he had stuped to the level of the left. I must say, even though it was true, it wasn't Christ like to state it the way he did. I think Rush did the right thing. That Fluke woman should be ashamed of herself. Robbing from her fellow citizens to satisfy her lifestyle that is against their religious beliefs; violating the constitution and the first amendment. I just discovered today the most disgusting images and content that I'd ever seen in my life posted on this site. I was completely disgusted. I don't know how it happened. It appears that someone somehow posted 4 articles on December 10th. Since none of the design of the site or past posts had been messed with, and my password was still intact, I think that most likely they simply sent emails to the blog email address that I use to post via email. Since I never had problems before, I had it set to automatically post. I've since changed the setting to not post until confirmed by review. Hopefully I'll never suffer this problem again. I hope nobody saw the filth that was displayed here. I am very sorry.

This is sickening! How much of our tax money is being spent on the president's campaigning. Disgraceful!! Disgusting!! Should a public servent be out spending all this time and all of this tax payer money towards his re-election? Hell no!!! It should be common sense that this is immoral and unethical. Apparently we need to make it law that you can't spend any resources, time or money, deferred to you by the citizens whom you serve toward campaigning.

 

Think about it; does the president even need any more publicity? He's speaking, all over, on the TV every day. His fruit should stand on their own merits. There should be no need to spend any money or time campaigning.
